Elon Musk provokes Brit cave diver he called ‘pedo guy’ AGAIN

Just days after hastily abandoning a short-lived exploration of taking Tesla Inc. private, Elon Musk returned to Twitter to showcase the impulsiveness that has raised the eyebrows of investors and regulators alike lately.

Last month, Musk referred to Unsworth as "pedo guy" after the Brit criticised his plans to use a mini-submarine to help rescue the boys' football team trapped in a series of flooded caves in Thailand.

In a letter Wood sent to Musk on August 6 reviewed by Business Insider, Wood writes that Musk made "false and defamatory statements" suggesting Unsworth is a paedophile. Ironically, the letter surfaced after Musk himself wondered why Unsworth hadn't sued him, while discussing a separate story on Twitter. The cave explorer told CNN in July that the mini-submarine Musk was constructing "had absolutely no chance of working".

"The Tesla and SpaceX CEO apologized, but brought up the controversy again Tuesday by tweeting "it's unusual he hasn't sued me?"

"His actions against me do not justify my actions against him, and for that I apologise to Mr Unsworth and to the companies I represent as leader", Mr Musk tweeted on 18 July.

French, British boats fight over access to scallop-rich waters, video shows
Recently, UK and French fishing bodies have also agreed limits for British vessels, but talks ended without a deal this year. French maritime authorities today appealed for calm and branded clashes between rival boats "very dangerous".

Billionaire Elon Musk said on Twitter that he wanted Ethereum "even if it [was] a scam" on Tuesday - perhaps as a tongue-in-cheek response to the cryptocurrency scammers who frequent Musk's Twitter.

Musk asked the Twitter user if he had investigated the diver, to which he sarcastically replied, "the world should police your lack of filter and everything that comes after". "I also spent considerable time listening to current shareholders, large and small, to understand what they think would be in the best long-term interests of Tesla".

Musk responded to her post denying that he had cried during the interview. "According to a subsequent Twitter post, you did so out of anger", Wood wrote, adding that he was "preparing a civil complaint for libel". It appeared that the controversy might have ended with Musk apologizing for his outburst and deleting the tweets shortly after, but on Tuesday, the whole issue was reignited again.

"Plaintiffs are correct that defendants' qualifications would not have been meaningful if defendants had known that it was impossible for Tesla to meet its stated production goals, not merely highly unlikely".
