Galaxy Note9 name confirmed by Samsung for its 'most powerful phone yet'

The back side of the Galaxy Note 9 will be curved, and the phone's display will also be curved, while the phone will sport minimal bezels, as expected.

It invited users to pre-order and be "one of the first to experience it".

Samsung calls the device "1 terabyte ready", which relates to the 512GB SD card being removed from the machine, rather than the Note 9 somehow boasting 1TB of internal storage.

As you might recall, Galaxy Note 7 was a big disaster for Samsung that ended up costing the company over $19 billion.

Apple briefly becomes the first $1 trillion US company
The ubiquitous iPhone has fuelled Apple Inc's astronomic rise over the years, accounting for a bulk of the company's revenues. One of those is Canada , but Apple isn't that far behind us now.

Whoops? Albeit the Galaxy Note 9 has not been launched just yet, somebody at Samsung figured, why not place the teaser video online.

We now know nearly everything there is to know about the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but a new leaked video directly from Samsung may have just spoiled the final secret - the storage. Now, the introduction video of the smartphone has also been leaked, which highlights its top features. We've now embedded that video above. It comes in a bold new yellow shade and Samsung is calling it "all new powerful S Pen". There is no clarity on whether this variant will come with 8GB of RAM. The Galaxy Note 9 is expected to be available on 24 August.

The rumors are continuing to flow regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note9, which has uncovered tidbits such as renders showing fingerprint sensor placement, its S Pen, and the possible inclusion of 512GB of onboard storage. Taking this as face value means we're going to get a phone with the long-rumoured 4,000 mAh battery, a welcome 700 mAh increase from the Note 8.
