EA's Origin Access Premier goes live on Monday 30th July

The company has announced that Origin Access Premiere will launch on July 30, 2018 on PC, meaning the service was almost ready during its E3 reveal. It's fairly realistic to imagine other big publishers and platform holders to soon offer their own subscription services. EA is betting the same business model will expand to games, and it's reportedly planning to launch its Origin Access Premier service on July 30 to get in on the action. Unlike the 10-hour limit imposed for Basic users, Origin Access Premier will give you unlimited five-day early access to EA's biggest titles, including the upcoming Federation Internationale de Football Association 19, NFL 19, Battlefield V, and Anthem, reiterating what EA said at E3 2018. And you can still play the older games that come with a standard Origin Access subscription.

You can find out more about Origin Access Premier from EA's website.

Ving Rhames Held At Gunpoint By Police After Neighbor Reports Break
He was ordered to put his hands in the air, adding that there were at least four officers and a police dog at his house. Ving Rhames says he opened his door two years ago and found a red dot on his forehead-from a 9mm police handgun.

During EA's call to investors yesterday discussing its Q1 2019 results, company CEO Andrew Wilson announced Origin Access Premier would launch next week on PC.

Disappointing though it is that we won't be lifting any more free stuff out of EA's pockets, I'm not really surprised that On the House is going away. But interestingly enough EA is taking a page from the GamePass playbook: before, Origin Access subscribers had to wait until EA rotated new games into the mix. With Basic, you will get a 10% discount on purchases made on the Origin Store along with "Play First Trials" which is a time-limited game trial for new games. Its price is $99.99 per-year, or users can also pay $14.99 per month. Play the full game starting five days before launch without purchasing it separately, until you cancel your Premier membership. Then in October, Premier subscribers will get access to Battlefield V and in February, they'll get access to Anthem. Now, instead of a single option, EA offers a tiered approach.
