6.1-Inch iPhone To Use ‘Full Active LCD’ For Ultra Slim Bezels

The launch event for the next generation of Apple iPhone and iOS-powered devices is gradually approaching. The same report also says that the new tablets will be smaller, and Apple will introduce FaceID albeit only in portrait mode.

With the bezels shrinking, the iPad Pros will adopt Face ID, Macotakara says - something we've heard before, and which makes flawless sense. This is the 6.1-inch iPhone 9 model we're talking about, which is said to be the cheapest of all the variants. A new report has surfaced which claims that the upcoming iPad Pro lineup is not only going to be slightly smaller than its predecessor but will also ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack.

It is as yet unclear when Apple is going to unveil these new tablets.

Apple has been thought to be working with Japan Display on this type of tech for quite some time but this would be the first model iPhone to actually benefit from the tech.

Summer traditon returns to region: West Nile Virus
The Georgia Department of Public Health has confirmed 24 mosquito samples have tested positive for West Nile Virus. The City of Hamilton is warning the public about an increased risk for West Nile Virus.

These adjustments won't include any changes to the display sizes, meaning they would allow the same screen dimensions to fit on a smaller sized device, especially in the case of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is said to measure 280mm tall, 215mm wide, and 6.4mm thick, compared to the current measurements of 305.7mm x 220.6mm x 6.9mm.

iPhones have not had a headphone jack since it was removed in the iPhone 7, and Apple has instead relied on Bluetooth devices like the AirPods along with Lightning-based headphones. Due to the way the various sensors and cameras are placed in the iPhone X, specifically the dot projector, the device can recognize your face only when holding it in portrait mode (which is the most common way to hold a phone anyway). We will have to wait and see if any or all of the news are true. The setup could be placed somewhere near the Lightning connector.

Apple is expected to release three new iPhone models for 2018 all with an iPhone X style top notch display.
