Capcom Reveals Collector's Edition for Resident Evil 2 Remake Game

A must-have for any Resident Evil fan or collector!

"Ben's File" Art Book - A 32-page book left behind by Ben Bertolucci, a freelance journalist who makes an appearance in Resident Evil 2.

According to Capcom's Kellen Haney (via the PlayStation Blog), Claire's updated design uses the same tech that is used to bring to life Leon, which is to say, it used scanning technology with a real-world costume to capture every last little detail of her outfit.

The game is expected to arrive on the PlayStation 4 on January 25, 2019. Everything has been redesigned for modern systems: the Raccoon City Police Department, the surrounding city, and its characters, including Claire Redfield.

The Resident Evil 2 Collector's Edition gives you a copy of the game and the Deluxe DLC pack.

Unfortunately, the Collector's Edition will be exclusive to GameStop and EB Games, and will retail for an eye-watering $199.99.

To close out the panel, Capcom revealed a Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition and Resident Evil 2 Collector's Edition.

For those unaware, the game will be a total remake of the original classic survival-horror game instead of being a remastered version.

As you may know, Claire appears in the game as a result of her journey to Raccoon City to find her brother Chris.

Step into the rookie shoes of both heroes - Enjoy separately playable campaigns for both Leon and Claire, allowing players to see the story from both characters' perspective.

Capcom also previously confirmed that the Resident Evil 2 remake will be making its way to the PC and Xbox One for $59.99.
