New Zealand Countdown supermarkets are recalling a frozen vegetable mix as a precaution amid fears it could contain a particularly risky strain of listeria.

Early symptoms include fever, headaches, tiredness and aches and pains. Listeria can invade the central nervous system and cause meningitis and even brain infection.
