Theresa May focused on boosting U.S. trade relationship during Trump's visit

A high fence has been erected around the USA ambassador's central London residence where Trump will spend Thursday night and the embassy has sent out an alert warning Americans in London to keep a low profile in case protests turn violent.

Then, Trump will head to Scotland for a few days.

Thousands of protesters are set to line the streets to demonstrate against Donald Trump's visit as the US President landed in Britain.

The bulk of the activity will take place in London, where people plan to gather first in Regent's Park outside of the USA ambassador's house on Thursday and again across central London for a series of protests throughout the day on Friday.

The Met will be responsible for the protection and security of the divisive United States president and will also try to ensure lawful protests can be staged.

The protesters have planned flying a giant balloon of Trump depicted as a baby crying in its nappies next to the British Parliament on Friday and the protest initiative has been named "Trump Baby", the AFP report said.

"We are confident that there will be huge demonstrations against Trump wherever he visits", said Chris Nineham, of the Stop the War Coalition, which is helping to stage the so-called "carnival of protest".

However, media coverage may well be dominated by footage of the "Trump baby" balloon as it soars above the iconic Houses of Parliament for a two-hour spell.

The US President and the First Lady will land at Stansted Airport, Essex, to start his visit to London and the south of England.

An Israeli military statement said Kerem Shalom would remain open for the transfer of specially approved humanitarian goods. The flaming kites have set fires to forest and farmland, and have done some damage, though inflicted few casualties.

He has also said he might speak to Boris Johnson, who quit as foreign secretary over May's plans.

Tall metal mesh barricades and concrete blocks have been erected around the perimeter of the US Ambassador's swanky central London residence, Winfield House, where the US President will spend Thursday night.

"As two nations, we are safer, more prosperous and more creative when we work together and I am looking forward to this week's important discussions", May said in a statement late Wednesday.

"It's typical, but honestly Donald Trump's legacy will outlive any big orange balloon and the matters that will be discussed at Chequers and now in Brussels are much more important and will have a much longer effect than any day rally", she said.

Britain "is in somewhat turmoil", Trump said before departing Washington, remarking that dealing with Putin might surprisingly be the easiest part of the European trip.

Later, Trump will take tea with Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle, a home to the royals for 1,000 years, part of a tour created to keep him away from protesters.

On Friday, Trump will join May at a United Kingdom military demonstration at a defense site, after which they will go to May's country home Chequers for bilateral talks, according to the Evening Standard.

Mrs May will be seeking to improve her often publicly strained relationship with he USA president as she pushes for a post-Brexit trade deal with America.
