Stormy Daniels arrested after OH strip club patron touches her

Adult-film actress Stormy Daniels was arrested at a strip club in Columbus, Ohio, for allegedly allowing a patron to touch her while on stage in a "nonsexual manner", her lawyer, Michael Avenatti said early Thursday morning.

"Just received word that my client was arrested in Columbus Ohio while performing the same act she has performed across the nation at almost a hundred strip clubs", his tweet read.

Daniels was arrested at a club in Columbus, Ohio while performing an act she has done at almost 100 strip clubs across America, Michael Avenatti wrote on Twitter.

Adult-film actress Stephanie Clifford, also known as Stormy Daniels speaks outside US Federal Court with her lawyer Michael Avenatti (R) in New York, April 16, 2018.

Charles Murphy, a correctional service coordinator at the Franklin County Sheriffs' Office, confirmed Daniels was arrested by a Columbus police officer but said she hadn't been booked.

The lawyer, Michael Avenatti, said she would deny the charges.

An Ohio strip club law prohibits clients from touching a nude or semi-nude dancer, unless the patron is a member of the dancer's immediate family.

Kane had the best shot at it, finding himself through on goal , firing at Subasic, then knocking a second effort against the post. Raheem Sterling probably could have done slightly better given some of the unsafe positions he found himself in too.

Avenatti said the arrest was a politically-motivated "sting operation". "#SetUp #Basta", Avenatti said in a second tweet. A fourth officer then exited the club to request assistance to make an arrest.

Trump and Daniels are locked in a legal wrangle over her going public with allegations that the two had a brief affair in 2006.

'This was a setup and politically motivated.

She was booked and released early Thursday morning on a $6000 bond. While exact details of the performance have yet to be released, the answer may lie with a decade-old OH state law, the Community Defense Act. But according to a Columbus Dispatch article published in September, 2017, the law has rarely been used.

There's still some confusion about what exactly happened inside the Sirens Gentleman's Club in Columbus, Ohio last night.

She made headlines earlier this year when she alleged an affair with President TrumpDonald John TrumpEx-Russia ambassador: Trump has done more damage to North Atlantic Treaty Organisation in months than Russia has in decades Trump takes credit for increased defense spending by North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies, but says "it isn't almost enough" Trump questions how Russia probe can "proceed" given Federal Bureau of Investigation agent's private comments MORE in 2005.
