Godparents to be revealed as Louis is christened today

Carole Middleton and her husband visited yesterday at Wimbledon, while Pippa chose the fourth day of competition to make an appearance in the company of his brother James.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will christen their third child, Prince Louis, on July 9, 2018, starting at 4 p.m.

Meghan was christened and confirmed in the oak-panelled Chapel Royal by the archbishop, who also married her and Harry in May.

Louis is set to wear the same christening gown used by his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The godparents will most likely be close friends of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The cream lace and white robe is a replica of the gown made for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter's christening in 1841.

Trump's Mar-a-Lago seeks to hire 61 foreign workers
The resort made a similar request earlier this year, filing for 70 visas for restaurant staff as well as housekeepers in January. It suggests Trump can not find a sufficient number of Americans in South Florida to work on the non-specialized jobs.

Prince Louis will be christened later in a private ceremony in the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace.

George was also christened in the Chapel Royal, but Charlotte was baptised at the Church of St Mary Magdalene in Sandringham.

Prince William's private secretary, Miguel Head, who is set to step down from his role later this month is the bookies' favourite to be one of the godparents. As well as sharing this historic date with his great-grandparents, his name itself pays tribute to Prince Philip's grandfather, Prince Louis Alexander of Battenberg, and his uncle, Lord Louis Mountbatten (whom both Philip and Prince Charles were close to).

Two days after Louis was born, William revealed at an Anzac Day service that the baby and Kate were "in good form, luckily".

His father said he had "thrice the worry now" when he left hospital with Kate to take the infant home to Kensington Palace.

The Royal Family expects large crowds outside the baby's christening as many people attempt to catch a glimpse of the little prince and the family of five for the very first time on such a special occasion.
