Sega explains why Shenmue 1 and 2 run at 30Hz on PC

Sega just dropped a trailer today revealing the release date for the relaunching of the games that started it all. Thankfully, Shenmue 1 and 2 are being packaged together and re-released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 21. However, the more interesting aspect of this store page is that the product has a release date listed on August 21, 2018.

The new features that have been added to the games include scalable resolutions, updated UI elements, PC graphics options, modern and classic control schemes to choose from, and the inclusion of both Japanese and English voice work.

If you want to re-play these games-or see why so many fans contributed over $6 million to Shenmue III's ickstarter-you might be looking to pre-order the collection.

The games will be available digitally of course, but Sega indicated that it would also be releasing boxed versions as well.

Longest total lunar eclipse of the century: What you need to know
A lunar eclipse , often called a " blood moon ", is rare because it requires a flawless alignment of the Earth, moon and the sun. A lunar eclipse occurs when the earth comes between the moon and the sun, causing the earth's shadow to cover the moon.
