Microsoft is working on dual-screen, ‘pocketable’ Surface device

We've had numerous hints in recent weeks and months that a Surface Phone or something like it might be on the cards, and now a leaked email is pointing to a "pocketable" Surface device that's been two years in the works. Although there is a lot of anticipation around Andromeda - Microsoft debuted the concept initially as part of its Courier project almost a decade ago - Microsoft isn't the only one rumored to be working on dual-screened devices. Microsoft has also reportedly been working on stylus input for the device, so that users can unfold it and write in it like a book.

Microsoft's next big piece of hardware, Andromeda, may just fit in your pocket.

Andromeda is expected to be officially revealed by Microsoft this year.

The gunmen then removed Faid from the visiting room, where he had been talking with his brother, and fled in the helicopter. He was arrested in 1998 after three years on the run in Switzerland and Israel, according to French media reports .

Microsoft is not the only company that is working on dual-screen/flexible display devices. The Surface Pro was successfully able to disrupt tablets and laptops and big names including Apple are duplicating the Surface approach now. According to rumors, this operating system would be initially aimed at a folding smartphone or tablet hybrid that would be released under the Surface brand. Microsoft is apparently blessing it with a wraparound display which bridges the gap of the hinge when it's fully laid out.

The Verge notes that Microsoft's "current engineering samples" resemble 3D concept art created by the Austria-based designer David Breyer, who used existing patents as a guide. It seems the brand is going to pitch it as a pocketable Surface device. Microsoft's testing SwiftKey integration to make it easier to type on glass, and the company is bringing inking support to the Windows 10 Mail and Calendar apps, a move that may make a dual-screen device more appealing to paper planner addicts.

Emails from Microsoft have surfaced which delve into Microsoft's future plans for its Surface line of devices.
