\R Washington, Jun 11 (AFP) President Donald Trump lashed out at U.S. allies Monday in a Twitter rant focusing on trade following a contentious G7 summit of economic powers in Canada at the weekend.

The two-day 44th G7 summit ended on Sunday.

Trump on Sunday arrived in Singapore, where he and Kim are to meet Tuesday to discuss that nation's nuclear arsenal.

Heading into the leaders' summit in La Malbaie, Que., there were deep concerns the G7 alliance was fast becoming a G6 plus one because of a widening gulf between the US and the rest of the group in key areas such as climate and trade.
