Sylvester Stallone sexual assault case is being reviewed by LA district attorney

Greg Risling, spokesman for the District Attorney's office, said that case was brought forward by the city of Santa Monica, Reuters reported. Media reports from a year ago, however, outline at least two alleged incidents of sexual assault from his past.

Santa Monica police confirmed to USA entertainment website Deadline that the complaint was made by a woman who in November 2017 said she meant to file a police report over an alleged sexual assault in the 1990s.

The allegation against the star comes in the wake of the #MeToo movement that has focused attention on sexual harassment in Hollywood and beyond.

The second alleged incident of sexual assault involving Stallone was said to have happened in 1986 at a Las Vegas hotel.

This is all very freaky and an embarrassing waste of time.' The rumours were 'a crock of s***', he said. Victoria and David Beckham marriage of nearly a decade is just fine, a rep for the couple has revealed.

The accuser said she consented to have sex with Stallone but not De Luca, and that Stallone threatened to "beat her head in" if she told anyone. Stallone's spokesperson denied the allegation on the actor's behalf at the time. The alleged victim filed a police report in May.

"If this is the same woman, he categorically disputes this", Singer said.

On Wednesday, Singer said the woman's claim is "absurd" and said that Stallone has requested to file a police report alleging that the woman filed a false police report. "At no time was Mr. Stallone ever contacted by authorities or anyone else regarding this matter".

The case is being reviewed by a Los Angeles County task force that investigates possible sex crimes in the entertainment industry.
