E3 2018: Starlink: Battle for Atlas Release Date Revealed

Starlink: Battle for Atlas features an open, living star system; allowing you to seamlessly travel through the seven exotic alien worlds of the Atlas Star System.

Fox McCloud, of Star Fox fame, and his beloved ship, Arwing, will be featured in Ubisoft's upcoming space combat simulator Starlink: Battle for Atlas.

Starlink will be launching on October 16, 2018, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

It's a toys to life game for those who don't know where you can control modular spaceships. We had seen this game at E3 2017 as well. With Ubisoft partnering with Nintendo for games, it was able to get Star Fox himself added to the fray, which is fantastic.

Instead of four separate content downloads, expect more robust and more frequent availability of maps and other content. Announced today was the Black Ops pass, which Activision says "represents a new approach to post-launch content".

Between Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle and the Star Fox/Starlink crossover, it's clear that the relationship between Ubisoft and Nintendo is stronger than ever. This is the first time Star Fox has featured in any game since his own Wii U title, and was only made possible due to the relationship between Ubisoft and Nintendo. Each pilot has different skills to gain an advantage in battle.

Mix and match pilots, hulls, wings, and weapons to assemble your ideal starship with an unprecedented level of customization and creativity. The world evolves depending on your actions and your choices. But continuing to do so, especially if you're a Nintendo fan, would be a mistake. Why?
