Salah joins Egypt training session

Salah had been a doubt after suffering a shoulder injury in Liverpool's 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League final on May 26.

Egypt star Mohamed Salah joined his teammates in the last training session for the national team in Grozny, Chechnya before they head to Yekaterinburg, where they will face Uruguay on Friday in the World Cup opener.

Egypt will take to their first World Cup finals since 1990, after Salah himself fired them to Russian Federation with a last-minute penalty against Congo in a play-off fixture.

"There's a good degree of progress but no definitive decision on whether he takes part, as we are following his case day by day", he told reporters.

Trump's vow to end US-South Korea drills catches Pentagon off guard
Many said they welcomed the USA and North Korea moving to narrow their differences, but remained cautious and skeptical. Yesterday, the two leaders signed a commitment towards denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula.

For the team itself, the Salah-Kadyrov handshake was far less important than whether their star will recover from a shoulder injury to feature in Egypt's opening match against Uruguay on Friday in Ekaterinburg.

The 25-year-old scored 44 goals in all competitions under Jurgen Klopp last season. 'We hope he will be with us for the Uruguay match'.

"I promise you, I will do my best to be ready for the World Cup and to achieve the Egyptian dream", stated Salah. So I thought to myself, I have quite a few games to play before the end of the season, I can break the all-time record!

Egypt also face Saudi Arabia and hosts Russian Federation in Group A.
