Prey's Mooncrash DLC gives you a new experience - and hazards - every time

Today, Bethesda announced Prey will be receiving a bunch of new modes, updates and some new DLC at the 2018 Bethesda E3 2018 Press Conference to celebrate the game's anniversary.

The new DLC showcases how every way you play the game is unique and yes you'll be heading to the moon. kind of. In "Mooncrash", "players take on the role of a hacker named Peter who's stationed aboard a spy satellite tasked with intercepting TranStar communications". Prey: Mooncrash lets players try as many times as they like to escape an ever-changing, alien-infested moon base.

Prey: Mooncrash is what the developers call infinitely replay-able. Mooncrash will feature a new story mode as well as an intense survival mode. There appears to be elements of progression, though, as the description reads, "The further you go, the better the loot - and the better your chances for survival in your next spin through Mooncrash".

The Typhon Hunter multiplayer mode will bring a game of hide-and-seek where one human player must track down five mimic players.

Both the PREY and Wolfenstein VR games will be playable at E3 this week. Called Cyberpilot, this VR game will be set two decades after the events of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

Mooncrash and Prey: Digital Deluxe are available now, and Typhon Hunter will come in an update later this Summer. If you've already got a copy of the game, you can buy it as a standalone DLC for $20.
