Netanyahu meets European resistance to Iran nuclear stance

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Thursday that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's regime is "no longer immune" from retaliation.

Despite his shortcomings on the Iranian front, Netanyahu still managed to get these European nations to apply pressure on Iran, which could turn favorable for him in the future.

Mr Netanyahu blamed Assad directly for allowing Iranian troops to become entrenched within Syria and in turn threaten Israel.

His regime is not immune.

Speaking in Britain at the end of an extensive visit to Europe, Netanyahu stated, "Israel will not tolerate Iranian entrenchment, but this touches Assad".

Trump trade fury torpedoes Canada's G7 summit
Another image of the same gathering however suggests a more relaxed interaction, with Merkel smiling and Trump making eye contact. Its statement took a generally positive view of the leaders' positions on trade matters while acknowledging tensions with the US.

President Trump announced the U.S would withdrew from the Iran Nuclear Accord just last month.

Netanyahu is on a three-day European tour - visiting Berlin and Paris earlier this week - marked by strategic differences on Iran, as its leaders attempt to rescue the nuclear deal after USA withdrawal in May.

He heads later Wednesday to London for meetings with British Prime Minister Theresa May and Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson.

"If you are a European company or an Asian company or any company and you have to choose whether to do business with Iran or forgo doing business with the United States, you have to choose an economy that is about 3% the size of the American economy or you forgo an economy with 21 trillion dollars GDP, that's a no brainer". The senior diplomat also said that the three European leaders agreed to Israel's demand to have the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) review the Iranian nuclear archives obtained by the Mossad earlier this year.

"There is a whole realignment taking place in the Middle East - they're sort of stuck in the past", he added, displaying a map of the world with numerous countries highlighted to show Israel's "expanding diplomatic horizons". Stop them. That's what I think is happening now.
