Jason Witten: Packers a 'great spot' for Dez Bryant

While the Packers may be the best fit for Bryant because of Rodgers' pinpoint accuracy when throwing to covered receivers, the former Cowboys star isn't really a great fit for Green Bay. New signings Allen Hurts and Deonte Thompson, along with the acquisition of Tavon Austin, may make Williams expendable if he does not have a good preseason or training camp.

The offseason capture of former All-Pro Graham may signal a move away from that philosophy that longtime GM Ted Thompson stuck to for so many years, but the need for another wideout isn't glaring in Green Bay.

Obviously, this will disappoint some Packers' fans who were hoping that Bryant would be in the teams plans.

Dez Bryant most infamous catch in his entire career was actually a non-catch that has been argued for years now.

Shortly after being released by the Cowboys last month, the Baltimore Ravens showed serious interest in Bryant as they wanted him to join Michael Crabtree as another option in the passing game for veteran quarterback Joe Flacco.

Staying on track in a season like this it's really hard , he's still a young boy and I am really happy with how he dealt with it. Golden Boot victor Mohamed Salah has vowed to replicate his record-breaking debut season at Liverpool next term.

On Tuesday morning, Jason Witten shared some insight about his former Dallas Cowboys teammate Dez Bryant, whom he believes will sign with the Green Bay Packers in 2018. "He's motivated and I think he's going to end up going to the Green Bay Packers", Witten said. "Because I still believe Dez can high-point the football as good as any other wide receiver in the National Football League". I think that's a great spot for him.

Bryant, himself, has already said he doesn't see himself in a Packers uniform, and Witten admitted that his prediction isn't based on any insight.

Witten made it clear that he does not have any inside information about where Bryant might end up, and he also mentioned the New Orleans Saints as another potential landing spot.

If the Packers were to sign Bryant, they'd preferably want to get it done prior to OTAs.
