It is possible that it will be launched as the Nokia X6, reviving a popular moniker from the days when Nokia was the most successful phone maker. The Geekbench listing also re-confirms the previously leaked information, it reveals that the Nokia X6 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset and run on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Nokia is expected to unveil the all-new Nokia X - or potentially X6 - at an event in China tomorrow, 16 May.

Apart from the price, the benchmark scores of the device have also been leaked on Geekbench.

The smartphone is rumoured to come in three storage of 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM.

Nokia X6 will arrive with Snapdragon 636 that has eight Kryo 260 CPU cores, clocked at 1.8 GHz, coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. The smartphone will also feature a 5.8-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9.

There's no word just yet on a global launch for the Nokia X6, however the Nokia 6 was initially only available in China before being given a worldwide launch.

The leaked images show that Nokia X6 will come in white or silver accents on the sides with a designed camera module, power button and volume controls.

Nokia X6, in its standard version (Mediatek with 4 GB RAM), will cost 1499 yuan, which equals to about $237. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS and USB Type-C.

The dual camera on the back will have a 16 MP primary sensor, while the secondary is 5 MP. There will be another variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The Nokia X6 will come with a standard 3,060mAh battery with Qualcomm's QuickCharge 3,0 technology that can charge the phone to up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
