As mentioned above, the new model is a customised affordable variant of the recently launched Vivo V9 flagship device. The display is protected by a sheet of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Vivo is also anticipated to add another variant called Vivo V9 Plus to the lineup sometime soon. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The Vivo V9, on the other hand, comes with a 16MP + 5MP dual-cameras at the back. In the memory department, Vivo V9 comes equipped with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The Vivo V9 Youth comes loaded with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels.

The Chinese tech giant Vivo just launched their newest smartphone in India. For further expansion, the smartphone has a dedicated microSD card slot that will accept up to 256GB capacity microSD cards.

That dual camera setup is a combination of one 16 MP and one 2 MP camera that lets you take photos with Bokeh Effect (blurred background), and, there's also a single 16 MP camera on the front which features AI Face Beauty Mode.

The Vivo V9 Youth runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based software has been priced in India at Rs. 18,990. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box which is appreciable but it is heavily skinned with Vivo's own custom Funtouch OS.
