Xiaomi Redmi S2 to Launch in India Soon

Xiaomi has just announced the Redmi Note 5 in Indonesia and it's the first market to get the device in South East Asia. While this smartphone may later arrive in India with the moniker Mi A2, another new smartphone - Redmi S2 - might make its way into the market soon. Although the company is best known for their mid-range devices at budget prices, Xiaomi also sells plenty of smartphones with flagship-level and entry-level specifications as well. Our guess is that Xiaomi will market the cameras heavily for this new device, though we can't say for sure until the company starts teasing the device through its official channels. It'll have a dual rear camera setup with either the 12MP Sony IMX486 or 12MP OmniVision OV12A10 sensor as the primary sensor, and the 5MP Samsung S5K5E8 as the secondary sensor.

Other specifications of the Redmi S2, revealed in the report, include a 3080mAh battery and Android Oreo support. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, Redmi 5 plus, Mi A1 and Mi Max 2 has been powered by the same processor.

Stranger Things 3 Adds Cary Elwes & Jake Busey
He will play Bruce, a journalist for The Hawkins Post who is described as having a sick sense of humor and "questionable morals". Cary Elwes was recently a series regular on his show THE ART OF MORE , which has wrapped its second season for Sony/Crackle.

It is being further reported that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will feature a 5.99-inch display along with 2160X1080 pixels and will sport an 18:9 aspect ratio display. The teaser also reveals that Xiaomi has made a small but significant change in the design - while many of its smartphones so far have featured plastic caps on the top and the bottom of the back, the Mi 6X will feature a full metal design with antenna lines running on the top and the bottom. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel the Xiaomi Mi 6X, and a battery with 2,910mAh capacity will also be a part of the package.

There will be two models available - 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage or 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, which is similar to the Redmi Note 4. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on when exactly the Redmi S2 will be going on sale. As for camera features, there'll be EIS, Portrait Mode, and Face Unlock. On the software front, the device will be shipped with Android 8.1 Oreo and MIUI 9.5.
