Sixers' Ersan Ilyasova to get start at center in Game 2

Any 76ers player or fan would have been disappointed with Monday's 113-103 loss to Miami in Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs first round. A three-time National Basketball Association champion, Wade has settled into a bench role in his return to the Heat, but the team likes to play through the veteran guard when he's on the floor.

Wade, who also had seven rebounds and three assists, was backed by 20 points from Goran Dragic and 18 points from James Johnson. However, crucial misses eventually led to Wade burying multiple buckets to seal the game late on. "I told myself that whatever minutes I was going to play, I was going to do it aggressively".

"I love the stage".

"You're talking about a superstar, of course we are missing him [Embiid] here", Sixers forward Dario Saric said, adding that when he comes back, everyone feels like "he will kick their [Heat] a-s".

Miami will play host to Game 3 on Thursday.

It looked like the home side were close to a remarkable comeback in the fourth quarter as they cut down a 16-point lead to just two points. But Wade helped the Heat finish it off.

Ilyasova finished with 10 points on 4-for-4 shooting and grabbed six rebounds in the third quarter. "I just want the green light to play".

Sixers coach Brett Brown later was forced to respond to an expletive-laced social media from injured star Joel Embiid, who wrote of his frustration at being "babied" after watching the loss from the sidelines.

"When he's not able to do that he gets frustrated and I respect his frustration".
