LeBron James being sued for ripping off 'Shop Talk' show idea

The lawsuit claims after working on the concept for two years, James cut the company out and created a ripoff called "The Shop", featuring LeBron and his contemporaries in a barbershop.

Well, according to TMZ, LeBron is now being sued over the same show.

The battle for barber shop themed roundtable shows took another twist today as LeBron James' multimedia platform Uninterrupted has been hit with a lawsuit for allegedly stealing the idea. The company argues James and UNINTERRUPTED instead split off to pitch the show on their own and removed Adventure Enterprises from the process entirely.

The lawsuit is seeking an injunction that would cease the production of future episodes of "The Shop", as well as "serious" monetary compensation, according to TMZ Sports.

Adventure Enterprises said it confronted LeBron's people and only received an apology and the assurance that it wouldn't happen again, the tabloid wrote. That wasn't the case, however, and another segment later ran on ESPN.

Compared to the January WEO report, the forecasts for the economy growth of the CIS member countries remained unchanged. He says the reason for the deficit is that total spending in the U.S. exceeds income.

Adventure Enterprises is also suing James' business partner, Maverick Carter, the CEO of UNINTERRUPTED, according to TMZ Sports.

In the lawsuit, Adventure Enterprises says it pitched James on the idea and had several discussions with Uninterrupted.

While a defiant head coach and his program continued to do the show, they did change the name to "Bama Cuts".

A person close to James, meanwhile, told USA TODAY that Adventure Enterprises sought payment from the National Basketball Association icon's Uninterrupted more than eight months ago.

The debut episode of "The Shop", ran during the 2017 NBA Finals and featured James, Warriors forward Draymond Green, rapper 2 Chainz and retired Knicks star Charles Oakley.
