Porzingis repeatedly said that he's focused on his rehab from a torn ACL and not on the Knicks' coaching search. His high points with may have been great, but the low points drove NY fans insane.

Woodson was sacked by the Knicks in 2014 after leading the franchise for two seasons, but isn't expected to be a top candidate. For Woodson though, he views this as an unfinished job - one that he thinks he has the necessary experience for.

"I don't want to hide the fact I'd love to be back, " Woodson told The Post in a phone interview. Porzingis reiterated Saturday that he wants to stay in NY long term.

"I'm sure the front office, they will make the right decisions and build something that can go a long way", he stated (h/t ESPN). But Blatt's relationship with Mills may help them finally land the right guy. "I want to come back more fluid". One thing is for sure, Cleveland was the wrong place for him to start his National Basketball Association career. Could the athlete formerly known as Ron Artest be the New York Knicks' missing link?
