Broncos To Land Case Keenum

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, 30-year-old Case Keenum, who was one of the NFL's top free agents, will sign with the new team when the 2018 free agency officially begins Wednesday. Neither, too, can Keenum's connection to Gary Kubiak, an advisor for the Broncos.

John Elway has his man, and it's not Kirk Cousins. And he comes at a cost that affords the Broncos more flexibility in reshaping their roster and adding to it in the upcoming draft.

It appears that the Broncos are giving Keenum a two-year deal at around $19 million.

"We all understand how the quarterback position has a direct influence on how your team plays", Joseph said in February.

Growth Analysis of The Coca-Cola Company (KO)
First Manhattan Communication has 693 shares. 3 analysts say it's a Hold while 0 analysts provided their expert opinion as Sell. The company reported $0.20 earnings per share for the quarter, missing the Zacks' consensus estimate of $1.13 by ($0.93).

At the National Football League scouting combine this month, Elway said, "we'll continue to look at all of the options out there when it comes to quarterback". We just have to figure out a way to get it right.

Keenum has been allowed to hit the open market by the Minnesota Vikings despite leading them to the NFC Championship game last season. No offer was extended to Cousins.

Elway didn't land Peyton Manning again but it was a necessary, smart move and dramatically improves Denver's chances in 2018.

The press in Denver isn't as harsh but doesn't seem to be much more excited, as there are titles like "Denver Broncos: In Free Agent QB Race, Losing May be Winning" and also an article that implies that Keenum is simply a fill-in QB until whomever they end up drafting in April is ready to go. "When you get opportunities like this, you've got to take advantage of them, so we're going to take advantage of it". That's why they rushed him back against the Bears despite Keenum's good play last season. That doesn't all go on the players. There were some things that we should have done that we should have done differently that we didn't do. "I feel like we can get right back in the thick of the things rather quickly".
