Rain & Snow Early, Slowly Clearing Skies Tomorrow

Lows will be in the 20s Tuesday morning, and only low-mid 30s Tuesday afternoon.

We'll see lake effect snow and rain showers Tuesday before things calm down a bit by mid-week.

Thursday is the chilliest morning of the week, inland frost is possible with overnight lows in the mid 30s. We will have ample sunshine for Wednesday with high temperatures holding in the mid-50s.

Snow amounts would barely be noticable since most surface temperatures will be remaining above freezing. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Those chances for snow showers continue through the evening and into early Wednesday before tapering off. While spring is officially just more than one week away, the middle of this week will be characterized by blustery winds, unseasonable temperatures, and occasional snow showers and flurries.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and cold temperatures develop, with an overnight low of 28 degrees. The next chance of rain or a mix will be Sunday night into Monday. Highs will be seasonably cool and a little below average in most areas.

Highs on Monday will be very similar to what we saw Sunday, topping out in the low 40s in most areas with a stiff northwest wind gusting to 25 miles per hour or more by late Monday.

Thursday looks sunny and warmer, with highs getting into the mid-50s. Expect partly cloudy skies and afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s. The weekend has milder or at least less cool prospects, as high temperatures climb higher into the 40s on Saturday and then finally reach 50 degrees Sunday.
