Police say a bride in southern Arizona was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after she was involved in a vehicle crash on the way to her wedding.

She was handcuffed and put into the back of a police auto at 10.30am yesterday in Marana, Arizona, 30 miles north of Tuscon.

It is not clear why Young was driving to her big day alone, donning a floor-length white dress, while under the influence.

One person suffered minor injures in the crash, according to Scott.
