Team17 Signs The Gorgeous Platformer Planet Alpha

"It's such a pleasure to welcome Planet Alpha to the Team17 games label".

British publisher Team17 and Denmark-based independent developer Planet Alpha ApS today announced that the upcoming indie title Planet Alpha has officially joined the Team17 family.

A project years in the making, Planet Alpha is the result of an idea from Adrian Lazar, an artist who previously worked at IO Interactive. The game has a very striking art style and makes full use of the Unreal Engine to deliver what might be the best looking platformer ever created.

Players will awaken and find themselves stranded on an alien world.

As outlined in the moving pictures below, Planet Alpha weaves a gorgeous art style with puzzles, stealth mechanics and intricate platforming-wherein, after waking up in odd surroundings, the player can "rotate and control the planet" as they strive to find their bearings.

Also, Sarma's budget speech is to be streamed live on Twitter and Facebook . "We are going beyond that". In relief to small tea growers, the budget proposes to exempt specified land cess on green tea leaves.

"Planet Alpha is the work of passion of a small but very ambitious team". We are building something special and we're putting everything we have into it.

The game looks quite unique so hopefully it'll live up to expectations when it launches later this year.

Adrian Lazar comments positively to the partnership, which allows the team to finally bring the game to players all over the world.

The game will be released on the Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in 2018. It surprisingly does not show off our lone astronaut's ability to rotate the planet and thus change the time of the day, which may come in handy during their journey to uncover more about the planet and how they got there, but it looks quite impressive nonetheless.
