United States police find model Sara Zghoul decapitated in suitcase

The dismembered and decapitated remains of an OR woman were discovered Thursday stuffed inside suitcases within the trunk of a auto, the Oregonian reports.

The suspect allegedly tried to commit suicide by slashing his throat and wrists before police could arrest him, but he was unsuccessful and was arrested.

Authorities in Aloha, Ore., say the victim is 28-year-old Sara Zghoul.

The suspect has not been identified and remained in custody, police said.

Sara Zghoul, a 28-year-old from OR, was an actress, model and voice-over artist.

'Her son, I mean, I don't know if he comprehends that she's never going to come back, ' another friend told KPTV. One Instagram post cited by the Oregonian reads, "I don't know how my story will end but nowhere in the text will it read 'I gave up.' Life gets better if you want it to".

"Sara was amusing, kind and a great mother", she said. 'It takes an evil, evil person to do something like that.' .

'She was a very amusing person, everybody knew her and her whole family'.

The family has declined to comment to local media, Mail Online reports.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office confirmed earlier that it received word of a possible homicide Thursday evening and later found parts of Zghoul's body inside a black BMW near Southwest Sarala Street and Hargis Road in Aloha. They found Zghoul's body in the trunk.

Detectives set up a crime scene at a home near the corner of Southwest 166th Avenue and Hargis Road on Friday, three blocks from where the vehicle was found, KATU reported.

Police said in a statement they would release the suspect's identity "at a later date". Very scary, ' he said.
